As a Kindergarten teacher, I am not only teaching students how to read and write, I want to teach them to LOVe it! I want them to become passionate and feel confident in their ability to read. Currently, my students do not have a wide range of storybooks or leveled books to support their interests. Providing them with additional books will promote their passion, confidence, and skills both personally and academically. In order to achieve this goal, my students are in need of high-interest books on reading level. With the ability to have multiple books at their fingertips, my students will be able to use their Super Reading powers. Using these powers, they are able to point our sight words, one-one- correspondence, and re-read with excitement! Building confident readers will help build confident leaders!
