Students need a variety of books to read. Reader's choice is essential so kids can dive into a book to find their Reading Zone! Our classroom needs its very own library to make this happen. We have set a goal to read for 40,000 minutes as a group by January. In January we will have a celebration and design book trailers to promote books. Independent reading creates life-long avid readers, improves vocabulary, develops critical thinking, and enriches a student's writing. At this point, I have many reluctant readers in my care. Help me to change this by donating books and furniture to our library. Your generosity will make a difference in a child's life.
