My students must learn about the the world around us, including what it looks like, where we come from, and how people live. I am limited with books and resources that they can easily access. Our school unfortunately doesn't have a library, and many students don't have a way to access a library outside of school. This classroom library will not only help my students to learn geography, history, and culture, but it will help them to learn that reading can be fun, no matter what classroom they are in. Many of the books I have chosen are ones that have visuals and present history as a fun, exciting story for students. My students love to read, and this classroom library will help them read and learn about our world at the same time!
