In the winter months many students will miss out on learning opportunities due to illness or frequent needs to go to the restroom to blow their nose, wash their hands, etc. It is my hope that having wipes and facial tissues readily available in the classroom will lower the spread of germs and maintain a healthy environment. The whiteboard is life-- my students love using the whiteboards to reinforce learning and practice examples with their peers, but have a habit of using their hands to wipe the writing off. The magnetic erasers (one for each board) readily available will hopefully encourage cleanliness. My students enjoy writing additional examples and do corrections on post-it notes, to stick on top of their main notes. Popup-notes dispense one at a time from the dispenser, hence more sanitary and less wasteful than traditional packets that are passed around and end up on the floor.
