Flexible seating allows students to think, read, learn, write, and be inspired in a comfortable environment. Instead of the traditional classroom with rows and rows of desks, teachers are testing the waters with a variety of seating arrangements. And guess what, IT WORKS! Stability balls, wobble chairs, bean bags, tiny couches, you name it. Students love it, and that's exactly what flexible-seating is about. Flexible seating allows students to have a choice in how they want to learn! The facts don't lie. Physical activity has been proven over and over again, to improve academic performance. If kids can't sit still for 8 hours straight, then maybe we shouldn't expect them to!
