Sometimes special education students need to take a break while working. They may need to work out some frustrations or clam themselves, and these are the perfect tools with which to do this. Using slime, putty, and scented play dough or squeezing a stress ball are all great ways for a student to take a needed break and become focused and ready to learn again. They can do this all while sitting at their desk. Students will be returning to school this fall, and, due to the pandemic, they will no longer be able to share any items. This includes everything from pencils to sensory tools.
