A classroom library will allow students with limited access to books to read quality titles. Encouraging students to read is difficult in our high-tech society. However, reading is more important than ever. Many students do not realize how often they use basic reading skills. Allowing students access to books will help them practice these essential skills. High-quality titles will help students turn off the devices and focus on reading. These books will provide the class with much-needed opportunities to practice the vital skill of reading, which will, in turn, help them be successful in life. Students will not only read these books but will interact with them through book clubs, group projects and individual projects.

About my class
