I designed "Art in a Bag" to send creativity home with my inner city students. Right now my students get Brown paper lunch bags with steno pads and dollar store colored pencils. Students are required to bring their Steno/Sketch book back each week during their Art Class to show me what they are working on, when they are not in class. Some students go thru their notebooks in a week and are ready for more. I designed "Art in a Bag" for my inner city students who rarely get out of the house, due to unsafe neighborhoods and lack of funds for recreation. Most of my students are eager to take things home, especially on the weekends as the T.V. and computer games are their only entertainment.
