My school has no funding for science. My students keep asking about dissecting! We are currently learning about the human body. One of the most important organs is the heart. One can learn about the heart by reading and watching videos, but there is no better way to learn than completing a heart dissection of a sheep’s heart! Donate you help fill their hearts (no pun intended). I plan for the heart dissection to occur after the students have learned about the circulatory system. Students will label the parts of the heart in the lab. This project will benefit my 7th and 8th grade students.
