My students are highly active eighth grade learners who are preparing to take the next steps in their education. Not just the next step on to high school but preparing themselves for college and real world application of their skills. Students need to be comfortable in a technology driven environment. As such, I try to foster an intrinsic drive for success as opposed to bowing to external factors. I want my students to be ahead of the learning curve when it comes to technology driven instruction. The use of Chromebooks for lectures, note-taking, research, and assignment submission will prepare them for future steps not only in education but in the work force.
