Projects such as posters and coloring activities help students to stay interested in a subject that they sometimes have difficulty with. It also encourages creativity and problem solving when students complete a non-routine task. These colored pencils and markers will be used by students in the classroom to create projects that are fun and interesting. Sometimes, I have students color code their notes. This helps them to make connections between different ideas and it helps them to remember the material. Many students need to be creative in order for the Math to "stick." Students enjoy the creativity and that keeps them interested in class and in school.
