As the Health and Physical Education teacher at my school it is imperative to keep my students moving and engaged as often as possible. With many elementary aged students, my students are very competitive! I am looking for pedometers for all students at my school to encourage them to be as active as often as possible! In addition to being the Physical Education teacher, I am also in charge of recess. Most students would rather sit on the bleachers and chat or play with their electronics. I would love for each student to have a pedometer to entice their competitiveness and urge them to move during recess! What is a better way to motivate students to move than add a little step competition within grade bands or against their teachers and administrators!
