Social-Emotional Active Classroom ( SEAC ) is designed to help challenge our students physically, as well as emotionally, in developing and strengthening their character. We are seeing an upward trend with students struggling with anxiety and prolonged emotional deficits. Our goal is to design a small exercise group, infused with social/emotional support, that will challenge students physically and emotionally. We believe we can develop the skills needed to strengthen our mind and body in hopes to overcome some of their anxieties and emotional deficits through the use of physical activity.
