With additional flexible seating in my classroom, this will give them more options that I just can't give them myself. Can you imagine sitting in a hard chair all day long? I try to get my students up and moving as much as possible, but many of my stools, yoga balls, and desk mates have been broken. I just can't afford replacing them yearly. Every student matters and deserves an opportunity to get their work done in a search that suits them the best. More choices will lead to a better work environment and give my students the power to choose their seat.
