Help me give my students the opportunity to experience a flexible seating classroom. It is hard for some students to be able to sit in a hard chair all day. This is also a great resource for students with ADD/ADHD or students that have a hard time sitting still and focusing in class. My students will have the opportunity to explore and move to their best seating arrangement during reading groups. The movement and innovative seating the stools provide will help them stay engaged and in control of their own learning. I look forward to introducing these new flexible-seating options to my second graders! I believe it will allow my students to get their wiggles out while working independently and staying focused on their classwork.
