The requested Chromebooks will make a difference for my ESL students. There is a program called Immersive Reader that can be using on the Chromebooks to help translate text, give definitions, and show pictures of words and reads to dyslexic students. It would make a positive impact on my kids. My students came from an F rated school and are extremely low readers. Having this program would help foster their learning. Having Chromebooks would help them in their writing as well. Having the ability to look up words and definitions would engage them in the writing process. They want to learn and are so willing, but we need a little extra help. I want to see my kids succeed.
