I feel that my students will want to read on the chromebooks and if they want to read they will retain what they read. Most of the kids in my class do not have computers at home and school is the only place that they have the opportunity to interact with one. Having these five chromebooks available in the classroom will give the students an opportunity to use apps to improve their reading skills. Reading is very important in the learning process and anything that helps that process is worth it! The students can read stories, take tests, and review and retake skills as needed. What more could we expect from a machine?
