My students are in a school that has a special Dual Immersion Language Program. This program makes all of our students aware of the many languages and cultures that make up our great community and world. My students want to celebrate the diversity of our school and make sure that it is represented, as much as they can, in their first holiday program. It has been many years without a music program and now, in this first year with music in school, my students are learning about our neighbors through music, song and dance. The multicultural dress and instruments will be used by the students who's parents are not able to afford to spend monies on such items. Parents and teachers are collaborating to assure that all students will have a proper "costume"/attire to wear. We want all students to know that they are important and are "seen".
