This project is mostly books for me to read to my students virtually. My Kindergarten students log on each day and are still excited to come to class even though it is on the computer. They look forward to these stories each day. For many of my students school, stories, and communicating with their classmates and teachers in a google meeting is the highlight of their day. I try to keep them engaged and excited to learn every day despite not being together. These books give my students an escape from realty and these trying times. In hopes to return to the classroom this year the other classroom teacher and myself, along with the students will be required to wear masks. We would like our classroom to have its own set of masks for safety and assurance that we and our students are always prepared for the day.
