My students are learning how to live a "readerly life". This means that they don't just read during reading time, but they read at home too! Students have a "shopping day" where they shop from the classroom library and gather between 10-15 books that are at their reading level. They bring these "just right" books to and from school everyday. These materials will help create a classroom library that provides students with engaging books that are at their independent reading level and more importantly, these materials will help develop strong readers.
