One day, When I was in a neighboring school's classroom, I noticed that there was a light table and some of the students were exploring it during their center time. I have wanted a light table for my student to explore science in different way ever since. The light table and accessory/discovery kits will help students learn more about science and technology as they discover how the light can be manipulated with different objects. The magnet kit and the magnet marbles will increase the students' knowledge of engineering. The block balance and shape kit will give the students a hands-on experience when learning about math. Donating to this project will help my students become little scientists and explore beyond the everyday math and phonics lessons. By using the light table and other STEM related items, my students will be able to use their creativity in ways the probably have never done before. We will use these items as we relate them to real world experiences. I have done lots of research about STEM and its importance in the classroom and I need your help to make this a possibility in my classroom. Thank you so much!
