The materials requested will help give students the full graphic designer outcome creating real-life prints, models, and samples of their work. These materials collected will allow my class to create stickers, greeting cards, and brochures. This will encourage my students to have an active role in class, school, and their community. When my students see their designs applied to products it encourages them to continue and reflect on how they can make their designs better. My class goal is for our class to have a bigger role in their school. This course and materials will help students examine the various areas in design and visual arts and allow students to develop, nurture and strengthen their creative and artistic talents. Students will be engaged in 2D and 3D fine art, web design, digital photography, and portfolio development. This hands-on approach will help students develop and strengthen their creative, communication, research, problem-solving and conceptualization skills. The material will help students get the designer feel and outcome.
