This book will make a difference in my students' learning by giving them a wonderful visual aide that not only provides images and graphic organizers but follows the standards for the state of Texas in a succinct and easy to understand format. For example, they will be able to see the maps that relate to our current topics of discussion right next to the reading. The pages are exploding with color and imagery! Students will enjoy reading about history and will be able to grasp the STORY of history that they often miss with multiple handouts or worksheets. I want to make history come alive for my students so that they can become inspired by our nation's history and feel passionate about what they are learning rather than overwhelmed.
