I have selected books that are on the 7th and 8th grade curriculum that I can help with my special education students succeed by reading this books with them and help them feel included with their peers. My students struggle with reading and reading comprehension. With me having my own reading books in the classroom, my students will have independence and gain confidence within the classroom and able to highlight important words and passages to help them gain the knowledge and comprehension to better understand the book that they are reading for the curriculum. Reading powers all knowledge no matter what!
