I will use the Scholastic Let's Find Out Magazines and digital resources to supplement our science and social studies curriculum. These magazines provide informational text that is engaging to all students in the classroom. The digital resources that accompany the magazine provide technology opportunities, hands on learning opportunities and extension activities. Scholastic does a phenomenal job of incorporating state standards and quality children's literature into their magazine topics. Each child will also have a magazine to take home after the lesson is complete. This project will help me fund a years worth of Let's Find Out magazines, Science Spin, and digital access.
