My project is to make my classroom more accessible to all students. Most students do not thrive in a traditional desk and chair. Students need flexibility to move around a bit and find a spot to learn that is comfortable and engaging for them. Students are more engaged and excited about learning when they have a choice in where and how they learn it. I am really excited about the chance to have some seating options for students who could really benefit from it. Flexible seating helps students get their wiggles out while learning. I am super excited to get these for my students, as well as colored pencils to add creativity to student work.
