Our Title I campus, being in the center of an Urban Environment, lacks the diversity and natural resources that our low-income students deserve. A greenhouse offers a platform for a variety of educational opportunities for our Grade 6-12 learners, taxonomy, horticulture, plant systems, food webs, local sustainability, climate and weather conditions, landscape design, personal responsibility, the fragility of our ecosystem, and how important each individual role is. By acquiring this amazing project, our scholars will be able to access a number of scientific branches and experiments, as well as connect with nature, which will construct a life skill for their future. Specifically, my engineering students have stressed excitement towards creating an irrigation system within the greenhouse. The greenhouse will supply endless outlets for staff and students to commit to projects, grow from seed, nurture plants, and beyond. Thank you so much for considering a donation towards Greenhouse for Harmony!
