Set Me Free! I currently use a doc cam that holds me hostage at the front of the board on a cart. This prevents me from walking around the classroom to monitor student work, keep students in the back of the classroom on task and actively engaged. My project request will allow me more mobility around my classroom, thus, I'll be able to increase time on task and prevent or limit disruptions and off-task behaviors that chips away at instructional time. My scholars will be able to use the technology when they model student work on the board from anywhere around the classroom and it will provide them the experience of using 21st century technology for learning.
