As we transition into a hybrid class, an iPad will bring our class closer. The iPad gives the teacher and students the ability to project on the screen for everyone from anywhere in the classroom. It also allows individual students an opportunity to add and share content with classmates, both in person and remotely. An ipad will allow me to get out from behind the desk and teach like we used to while maintaining social distancing. The iPad will allow me to walk around the room, use the SMARTBoard, maps and the white board while still connecting with the students at home. The microphone and speaker system will allow those students at home to participate in class discussions and thus make our entire experience interactive whether the students are in the classroom or online. Together we all achieve more. An ipad will bring us closer together.
