Classroom organizers will give my students a since of ownership. They will feel like they own a little piece of the classroom. They will know that their work is safe and easily accessible. Students should not fear that their work will go missing because someone from "the other class" messed with it. Student work will remain in a safe place and other students will not have it at their fingertips in their shared desks. When I took over as the teacher of theses two classrooms, my students wrote me letters. The majority of them have a fear of having things stolen from other students they share desks with. With this organizer, I will have a clear view of students mailboxes and be able alleviate this fear.
