It's important for my students to receive these sensory materials to help them in their daily learning. Many of my students have sensory and fine motor issues which can make daily learning challenging. These sensory instruments will be motivating for my students and help to better engage them in their lessons. Autistic students have issues communicating and interacting with their peers. The items that I have chosen will enable them to work with their peers in a more comfortable situation. I find that when they use manipulatives, they are more willing to work with others and more engaged.
