This year we introduced the new Skyline Honors English course. It was open to all rising 10th graders, and we encouraged students to sign up for this exciting and challenging new class.120 determined sophomores, who represent the diversity of the Skyline community, selected the course. 

 With the amount of screen time students are getting on a normal day, let alone during distance learning, it is imperative that they have hard copies of their texts. Critical reading and annotation are more robust with physical texts, and crucial for our course. By providing these books to our students to engage with at home, they will be able to hone critical skills and reduce the amount of time spent reading PDFs on their various screens.
