I work at an incredible school that values community, collective leadership, and empowerment of students. As a district, we endlessly fight for our students to receive the same opportunities and education that other schools can provide. Due to the demographics and lack of financial resources, we often run into circumstances that are not ideal for students. One such problem that my students face is getting access to technology. This is why it is pertinent we get computers into the hands of the students on a more daily basis, to begin to close the education gap and enhance classroom success. Allowing my students access to computers will afford them more opportunities to learn at their own pace. Computers offer students an untapped potential to discovery and my students will no longer be limited in their access to essential resources. Technology has become a fundamental part of society and through your generosity, my students can begin to advance and learn the critical concepts that technology grants.
