Students will be able to work together during library center times to solve engineering projects using a variety of inexpensive building materials. Learning how to cooperate and include everyone in the group is a valuable skill. The cups, wooden cubes, clips, and Lego bricks will work for a variety of grade levels to build towers, bridges, solve building challenges, and create unique designs from their own imagination. These activities will also allow students to be creative by physically interacting with the materials instead of having to be plugged into a computer or an electronic device! Maybe they'll try it at home too!
