Education and the way children learn is changing every day. My classroom is no different. With a variety of abilities, my students often require hands-on, interactive activities. Each lesson in their curriculum is designed to meet the variety of needs of each student. The introduction of technology in the classroom will allow my students to not only practice independent work skills but also help them experience every aspect of the lesson. Being able to have them actively engage in these activities will also allow me to get a clear picture of their successes and areas in which we may need growth. The students are extremely engaged in lessons when they can touch and interact with it and I feel the iPads will help to keep that excitement as the year continues.
