I have a great place to set up a professional environment. By using flex seating and arranging the furniture in an appropriate manner, we will be able to provide an area for students to work in a manner that will mimic the workplace. We will be using the space provided to hold banking/credit meetings, practice interview skills, discuss budgeting and other basic economic related topics that will guide the students to becoming successful in life after school. We are already operating a store where the students have the opportunity to earn "money" when they do the right things. They also have to make good choices or they can also lose their "money. At the end of the each week, they have an opportunity to go the the store. They are learning to count change and keep a budget. Students will be able to use this professional environment to see what it is like to go into a bank or other establishment and handle their business.
