My students are young energetic, passionate and vibrant children that are learning how to self regulate their emotions. This project is designed to give my students a comfy place to go when they need to calm down and re center. A bean bag will be comfortable cozy and a safe place when my students feel overwhelmed and need to calm down. The fidget toys will benefit both my students with autism and adhd that sometimes need a tactile or sensory way to help calm down. I want to help my students recognize when they need a moment to gather themselves and learn at a young age that self care is necessary.
