Headphones connect students to audio books, speeches, and English Language support. This technology makes a huge difference in the English classroom as my students routinely do independent study and 30% of my students are learning English. Audio support in the English classroom is crucial. Headphones allow students to hear their independent novels as they read, watch educational speeches, and conduct personal inquiry projects. For my students learning the language, they are able to hear their novels in English to connect the vocabulary they know to the story they are learning. Educators have learned that students learn in many forms. Supporting our audio learners can help boost a love for literacy across the board.
