Our students love science! We have an exciting field trip scheduled to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. This aquarium has fantastic exhibits and classes designed to motivate and engage students and support the Next Generation Science Standards through field experiences. We can't attend this trip without chartering a bus. This field trip is very expensive for our low-income families, and we are hoping to support them by providing transportation costs for our class through this grant. Receiving funding will lift a burden off of our financially struggling families. The transportation cost to get to the aquarium is $1,469. We are asking for $1,200. We will pay for the remaining cost of the bus.
