With your help to fund this project I plan to implement a safe beginner gymnastics unit to my curriculum. Many of my students have not had the opportunity to take a formal gymnastics class and with these new mats I plan to introduce them to another way of being physically fit as well as increase their muscular flexibility. These new gymnastics mats will provide me with 90 feet of cushion to safely teach the children about stretching, rolling, tumbling, and gymnastic skills. They will be able to move, explore, and try new skills without fear of hitting the hard floor. It will add a new and exciting unit to my already fantastic PE curriculum.
