Our students this year have, on average, come to us reading at a late-elementary level. By having ThinkCERCA to provide targeted teaching to group of students who are transitioning from "learning to read" to "reading to learn," I can get these students caught up much faster and give them access to materials presented in the whole-group setting. This intervention will boost students' overall confidence and keep them engaged in education, rather than feeling ostracized or frustrated due to their reading levels. Daily, structured intervention is proven to boost student reading abilities. I believe it's not too late to catch these students up to where they need to be so they can be college, job, and real-world ready in the next 1-3 years.

About my class
