Our ultimate goal will be to take a group of 6 students to robotics and engineering challenges in our state. I plan to meet my goal by implementing the robotics kits with all 2-4 grade students during our once a week class-time and with participating students in our after-school tech club. During these times, I should be able to identify a team of 6 to attend local First Lego League Challenges and Expos. Although my students are attending a city school while living in a near-poverty neighborhood, they deserve to get suburban school inside of a wealthy neighborhood opportunity. Our school is lucky to have well-behaved, respectful students who bring joy and hugs to us every day!
