The materials I am requesting will be a great addition to my tall "readbox" shelves located in my mini-library. These graphic novels will continue to enhance the print-rich space that I strive to create for my students. Not only will students be able to read these books independently, but I can also use these graphic novels to run book groups. My students love coming to my library and seeing what new books have arrived. They will be excited to see all the new graphic novels that have made a home within the "readboxes." I am aware that many students are reluctant readers and simply do not enjoy reading. I am also aware that every student reads at a different grade level. The variety of graphic novels I've chosen will help engage students to read while also activating their reading skills.
