Many times we tend to get carried away by responding to and reacting to negative or undesired situations. Putting the focus on the negative tends to take away from all of the amazing positive things that may be happening. Day in and day out, our students work really hard to do their very best in spite of the academic demands that are placed on them. I want them to know that their efforts are noticed and that their efforts do pay off. Through this project, I'd like to shift the culture of my school to recognize positive and good choice making more often. I hope that by recognizing the positive, all students will be motivated to engage in positive behaviors and be their best selves.

About my class
