While I love teaching 4-5 five year olds, it is sometimes challenging to keep them focused and engaged. They can easily lose interest in doing and using the same materials over and over. By acquiring these games it will definitely motivate students to learn through play. These items are most definitely developmentally appropriate for this age group. By using these games in class the students will be learning letters and sounds leading them to become readers. They will also be learning about building and structures leading them to become future engineers. Believe it or not, all these items assist these students to become future leaders.
