These materials will help teach vocabulary, enhance communication skills and increase comprehension for my speech therapy kids. My caseload is comprised of students with many levels of disabilities and they desperately want to communicate the best they can with teachers, peers and family. People with autism, cognitive impairments and learning disabilities struggle with communication. This impacts every aspect of their learning environment and how they feel about themselves and being accepted by their peers. I love the fact that I have the privilege of helping them achieve better communication skills and adding these resources to our speech therapy room would help them achieve their goals.
