The Scholastic Math publication will simultaneously engage math students at a variety of literacy levels, help engage them with math in the real world, support practice of math fundamentals, and free up time for me as the teacher to make other content instruction more engaging for both online and hybrid students. The funding of this project will gift me 10 hours a week to use towards making math content MORE engaging and exciting since I currently spend 2 hours composing each daily reading assignment I give my students. Each day's content instruction takes me 8 hours to construct, so the extra time would be greately appreciated to help bring the best of me to the classroom.
