Chromebooks allow students to access to online learning, do research, and work on fine tuning their writing in response to reading. My students love anything with a screen. Getting and keeping their attention has become more of a challenge but one that can be overcome if I learn to speak their language and respect how they learn best. I do not scoff at their love of technology, I embrace it and I want to make sure I use it to their advantage and mine. We can teach timeless skills using state of the art resources that ensure engaged students who are receptive to our teaching.
