My students are huge fans of the Berenstain Bears book collection and the important lessons promoted through their books. The books selected would provide students in the younger grades with one book a week, introducing important topics pertaining to social and emotional development, such as how to handle stress and how to apologize when needed. My kindergarten and first grade students are in high need of literature-rich lessons promoting social, emotional, and physical wellness. Through the characters, students will learn lessons that translate from the books to both the classroom and every day life. They would be thrilled with such a generous contribution to their classes!

About my class
