With the supplies needed for sewing and crochet club, I plan on supplying students with the fundamentals. I will teach them basic measuring skills used with measuring tapes and yardsticks. I will help them understand the sewing machine parts and maintenance. I will help them gain confidence by doing hand stitching, seasonal projects like wreaths, aprons, mittens , pillows and much more. This club is exciting and new for this high school. I also encourage the end of the year projects which allows me to focus on each individual student's skills. The course is set up for beginners and is geared towards learning a life long skill in a fun classroom atmosphere.
